So Annoying!

October 4, 2010 by Sudakshina 4 Comments

Dear Blog World,

I. Am. Annoyed.

This. Is. What. My. Next. Post. Is. About.

I. Need. To. Vent.

You. Get. The. Hint.

I’ll stop speaking in the robot-mode though, otherwise I’ll start annoying you and myself-and I definitely don’t want to be annoyed with myself!

But while we’re on robots, have you seen the cheesy, shmucky, oh-so-annoying trailor  for Endhiran: The Robot? Uggh, how can a 60 year old man pass off as the robotic romeo to the sultry and 20-or-30-years younger Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, goes beyond me and many other Bollywood fans! Take a look yourself:

Come to think of it, the pair look funny rather than annoying, or maybe funnily annoying?!

Oh well, moving along, what has also annoyed me and most Londoners who use the Tube (i.e the London underground metro trains) to get to and from work, is that they had a strike and we had a day off from work.

What’s annoying about that, you ask?

How about the fact that I’m now a day behind my teaching schedule; my students are a week behind their studies, (yay for them, I guess, even more annoying for me). How about having to wake up in the morning only to face a brother who wants to rant at me, for some reason!

As you gleaned from the post before this one, I am single and looking for a suitable guy (if you know anyone, you know where to reach me, by the way. Subtle advertising, I know, but hey. What’s a girl gotta do to find her beau? :))

Anyways, my folks assured me to leave this whole thing with them and so I did. That was two months ago and I haven’t met any potentials, so I went and did the silly thing of asking them, what’s going on? Maybe they’ve found someone but forgot to tell me or something right? “Oh don’t be so mad about getting married, girl!” Is what they said.

Me? Mad about getting married?

All I did was ask a question, can’t I ask a question?

So, I went into Lauren-mode (you know, from The Catherine Tate Show, as shown here) and almost splattered “I was only aksing a question. Can’t I aks a question?!” like her, but bit my tongue, to restrain myself.

And what’s it with married guys leering onto single women? Why do they kid themselves? Most of the comments or criticisms I get about my pics on Facebook are from my married male ‘friends’- wake up Mr Zero, you ain’t my hero!

I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but there’s a limit right?!

Rant over.
